National Maritime promoted CONSORTEX in Falmouth
Peter Green, Chief Officer at National Maritime was in Falmouth, Cornwall (The United Kingdom), during the Falmouth week, between 14th and 16th of August 2018, promoting CONSORTEX project. It was a productive week meeting with Cornish maritime industries to discuss the opportunities that will be created through the CONSORTEX project.
During this visit, seventeen firms expressed an interest in working together. National Maritime met the world’s no.1 overwater drilling contractor (Fugro), toured world class superyacht yard facilities (Pendennis Shipyard), witnessed a bustling working dock (A&P Falmouth), welcomed the arrival of the new British Government RFA Tideforceships, enjoyed Falmouth Week, a Red Arrows spectacular and even met an old sea dog on the St. Mawes ferry.
Peter Green was chaperoned by Ryan Kitchener, Wills Ridley.
Meetings with representatives from Invest in Cornwall/Cornwall Development Company and Cornwall Marine Network were also arranged.
