CONSORTEX project presented during the Business2Sea event
The CONSORTEX project was presented during the 8th Business2Sea – Sea Forum, that took place in Porto, Portugal, from the 14th to 16th of November. Under the main topic “2030 Sea Challenges”, the event was organised by Fórum Oceano, the Portuguese Maritime Cluster, in collaboration with CETMAR Foundation, gathering around 600 stakeholders from 10 European and non-European countries.
The CONSORTEX’ s aim, objectives, work plan and expected results were presented by John Hobbs, CIT – Cork Institute of Technology, during a Workshop on Shipbuilding and Marine Energies, in which were also discussed other projects, namely: Wind-Float Atlantic, ENTROPI, LIFE-DEMOWAVE, IN 4.0, Se@Ports and OPWEC.
The workshop ended up with a debate to identify the main “2030 Sea Challenges” with regards to the Shipbuilding and Marine Energies Sectors.
Business2Sea is an annual international event dedicated to the development of projects and business, in the different sectors of the Economy of the Sea. The initiative comprises a series of thematic workshops and conferences, pitching sessions, B2B meetings and an exhibition area.
