Foro Maritimo Vasco' s Manager visits the Atlantic Area' s Join Secretariat

Javier López de Lacalle, General Manager of Foro Marítimo Vasco, visited the Main Offices of Interreg Atlantic Area Joint Secretariat in Porto (Portugal) on April 24. Foro Marítimo Vasco is the leading institution of CONSORTEX project and participant partner in IN 4.0. During his stay in the Portuguese city, he met with the Project Manager of the first one, Carlos Garea, and talked with him about its development, informing him personally about the achievements and the next steps to be taken, as for instance, the intention of the partnership to request a project life extension for its correct completion. The Project Manager, for his part, informed him of the evaluation process of the second progress report, the forecast of its payment and the opening of the third one.
 
Taking advantage of his presence in the area, Javier López de Lacalle held a meeting with Frederico Ferreira, representative of the Portuguese partner of CONSORTEX project, Fórum Oceano, at its headquarters in Leça da Palmeira. They discussed the development of the project, the difficulties found and the activities to be carried out in the next months, especially the fourth partners meeting to be held in Vigo at the beginning of July.
